| Roger Merritt - Managing Director | |
Founder and Managing Director Roger Merritt has worked in the IT Industry since 1978 in the Surveying, Transport, Cadastral and Utility industries. Roger began developing Cadastral and Utility upgrade technologies in 1978 and holds a PhD in the application of Least Squares Theory to spatial data. Click here for the Thesis. Roger's career has taken him from early PC based application development for the Surveying Profession, through GIS application development in mainly ESRI based technologies, to Client/Server based GIS applications. Roger is now concentrating on the technical development of Cadastral and Utility Upgrade solutions to improve and maintain the absolute and relative position of the Digital Cadastre Layers and the relatively positioned Utility Layers. The future includes enhancing Topo Manager, and integration with other topological tools such as those from 1Spatial. |

Brian is an experienced Surveyor and Project Manager with skills in Strategic and Business Planning. He has 17 years experience in GIS and has exhibited leadership in this dynamic area of Information Technology. His experience in the Spatial Science Industry has developed over the past 43 years from the initial stage as a Cartographer through Surveying and IT support and finally into GIS. | Peter Bayley - GIS Consultant | |

Peter has worked in the military, oil and gas, telecommunications and government sectors in New Zealand, Australia, England, France, Italy, Spain and Austria. He has many years experience in indirect sales channels throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, speaks reasonable French and terrible Portuguese. Peter's career emcompasses systems engineering, support and training, sales, business development, marketing, graphics, computer-based training, design and consulting. Having worked in traditional IT, office automation, computer aided design (CAD) Peter moved to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Peter is now applying his extensive knowledge of web technology, ORACLE and Open Source programming (MySQL and PostgreSQL) to developing web-based spatial information systems – an extension of GIS to the Internet. Peter is strong in a technical sales role, grasping user requirements and applying the technology to fulfil them. He presents complex technology in a simple, benefit-oriented way, often using humour into a presentation to get the main points across. While working with Genasys he created much of the company's marketing material. |

Jose Diacono has over twenty five years experience in IT, marketing,
event and project management and selling services in mainland Europe,
the UK and Australia.
Jose has worked with GE, Intergraph, Smallworld, the Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) and SPL International in technical, management and marketing roles. She brings a wide knowledge of the utility industry and geospatial technologies, planning and communication skills to Spatial Tapestry. Using the language of business to explain complex technology and how it solves customer problems Jose has produced brochures and presentations and collaborated on consultancy reports and proposals.

| Trevor Williams - Senior Analyst | |
Trevor Williams is an IT professional with strong technical abilities and extensive experience in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) obtained in many diverse roles. Trevor was recently engaged in a Global IT Services corporation leading development teams ranging from 3 to 30 staff. Key responsibility of this role was Configuration Management including version control, release management, deployment, testing and user support. At various times fulfilling the positions of technical consultant, configuration manager, DBA, hardware technician, network administrator, end user support, software developer. Trevor effectively and professionally communicates with people at all levels in an organisation who are either technically or non-technically oriented. A wide range of technical skills and problem solving abilities enabling rapid identification of the issues arising between developers working on different hardware and software platforms on a multi-tier development project. Possesses solid skills and attention to detail that is in demand from peers, internal and external clients alike.
